3DWorks can reverse engineer components and products for further engineering and / or re-manufacture of existing parts by creating a CAD model to reflect how it was originally designed.
3DWorks is able to create as-built 2D or 3D drawings based on physical objects. Useful for placement of additional equipment. Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS), for example.
By using 3D Inspection, 3DWorks is able to check a physical part against the original model and/or part drawing to ensure whether or not it conforms to the required specifications.
3D images of complex geometries can be generated in a matter of minutes. 3DWorks can use these images for 3D modelling of engine rooms, ship damage reporting, or 3D Inspection of propelor blades.
Using highly accurate 3D measurement equipment, 3DWorks can offer realtime XYZ coordinate information of physical objects. Either for live on site adjustments, or for report.
3D Laser Scanning uses non-destructive technology and is a non-contact measuring device which allows data to be captured digitally without damaging the physical object being scanned.
With the most advanced and accurate portable measurement available on the global market, 3DWorks provides on site measurement solutionswith a resolution of up to 0.01 mm.
EXTRACTION OF PIPING
3DWorks is able to capture all piping, flanges, valves and more using portable 3D scanning equipment and create a highly detailed 3D CAD models.
3DWorks has a team of service technicians with wide experience with the alignment of for example pumps, compressors, generators and gearboxes.
